Future Space
In view of the thousands and thousands of formations that sparkle at us in the firmament, it is actually hard to believe – and yet there is much to suggest that the Milky Way is in a particularly empty region of space! And in fact, our position in the middle of a gigantic void could even turn out to be a real stroke of luck: after all, it makes it easy to crack the mystery of the so-called Hubble tension – and finally explain why the universe is expanding faster in reality than it should theoretically! However, this exciting assumption does have one small limitation: strictly speaking, there should be no such “bald spots” in space at all – and to explain the “impossible” void, we have to abandon the established ideas of Einstein and Co.
