Driverless trucks set to become ‘commonplace’ on roads
Sky News host Peta Credlin says driverless trucks are set to become “commonplace” on Australian roads.
A trial of driverless trucks has launched across two of the busiest truck routes in Victoria today.
Victorian Transport Association CEO Peter Anderson said the idea was not too far-fetched at all.
“There’s a big difference between a mine and a busy suburban road or a highway,” Ms Credlin said.
“He might have a long way to go to convince people.”
