The James Webb Telescope is set to revolutionize our knowledge of the universe – and indeed, the $10 billion device is more than living up to this ambitious task! After all, the Webb discoveries of the last two and a half years have repeatedly shown us that so much of what we thought we knew about the cosmos is simply wrong! Not only are there galaxies out there that, according to our understanding, should not exist at all, but there are also gigantic early black holes of an inexplicably high mass – and not least an exoplanet on which life may already be flourishing!
